A smaller, metal type version of my most popular poster.
These words paraphrase John, Viscount Morley, from his treatise On Compromise in 1857. I know the words thanks to a Ben Shahn poster that hung in my grandma's living room when I was a kid.
This print was set by hand and printed on a Chandler & Price platen press at Mancos Common Press in Mancos, Colorado, on unceded tribal lands of the Ute and Diné peoples, who are still here!
